Big changes to my very normal life... the rashes on my face since October 2009 has spread to almost the whole of my right-hand side, chin, a big circle on my left-hand side, and both eye-lids, and neck.
Have been to many doctors, Western and Chinese, specialists, and the only thing I know about these rashes are due to some autoimmune diseases, but it's (thankfully) not SLE.
been taking some autoimmune medicines for 1 week now... honestly, the rashes are no longer peeling, nor swollen, but its still very itchy and dry. The root of my hair seems to be very oily no matter if I wash them or not. as soon as I wash my hair, it is still oily at the root.
during these 2 weeks, I have done 3 blood tests, and I expect more to come.
On the bright side, my doctor (Rheumatologist) has given me 2 weeks sick leave, and during these times, I just stay at home, rest, and hide from the sun.
One and a half week have gone by, and I should be back to week next week - although the rashes are still here.
So what have I been doing apart from sleeping and resting? I finally learned how to cook CONGEE!!!
Yeah, it took me the 3rd time to succeed! Why Congee? Because the rashes spread around my lips, and they ar so dry that I can hardly open my mouth T_T
So each day, I just make myself different types of mix fruit juices, thanks to my parents and hubby who bought me lots of fruits... and thanks to my sister in law who has very kindly given me a blender for free =>
No bad uh! ^^
